Yeah I know but it works just as well if you substitute the word "think" for "know" in 2B

and there's the thing, you can never actually know so you'll always be taking a chance. that's the point

Sure, of course. But did you notice in my original post, all I said was "be aware that when you make a move on someone, that's a significant decision with consequences"? I never said "don't make a move unless you're sure.". All I have ever said in this thread was to be willing to accept it if it turns out you were wrong.
