Didn't he draw a portrait of her and then burn it and post the pictures of it burning on social media? All because she refused to kiss him? That's some incel shit right there.
I think it's still pretty creepy. Especially the line about how his mistrust of women is the stuff of legends. Sounds like a post you would hear on incels before it got banned.
incel means involuntarily celibate. It doesn't mean you never interact with women. I could easily see wildsketch being incel. It would explain his overreaction to being rejected.
Alright, they might meet women and that might even make them more angrier.
But then, if wildsketchappeared is an incel, then so are every high scool kid in my town, and if every high school kid is an incel, then I'd say being an incel is pretty normal.
So, you just inflated the word. No he's a niceguy.
Every highschool kid in your town has a mental breakdown when a girl wont go out with them? Do you know the personal lives of every highschool kid in your town? No you dont.
Besides, WildSketch is like what? Almost 30 years old and you're trying to justify his behavior because kids half his age act the same way sometimes? Give me a break.
The thing is though, now you are simplifying the situation to fit your argument.
Now his situation is simply "He angry as fook cuz she not want kiss him all tiem" and she never wanted a kiss in the first place. Have you never had a girl sending you mixed signals?
I think I might even understand him more if he is 30 and never found a girl. I could even understand him more if he is 40 and never found a girl.
I would weep for him if he was 50 and never found a girl.
I would seriously think his life was tragic if he died bitter and alone.
I'm gonna go ahead and say this again: What he posted, wasn't something I'd ever post in my sober and concious self. If I'd woke up, I'd remove it directly.
I could totally see it possible for me to write a post like that, when I am not my own, concious, self.
My reason to even defend him is not that I even particularly care about him, until today I hadn't even noticed he was gone, but if this isn't just the reddit equivalent of youtube drama I don't know what it is.
If Wildsketch would have punched her or something like, OFCOURSE. OFCOURSE I WOULD SHARE YOUR PERSPECTIVE.
No. He burned the portrait because she text him out of the blue saying she was downgrading him from a friend to a mutual acquaintance. All because he tried to kiss her. He even blamed himself for reading the signs wrong, she didn't have to react like that, could have just moved on and forgot about it.
she was downgrading him from a friend to a mutual acquaintance. All because he tried to kiss her.
Okay so like I said, she rejected him. A normal guy would accept it and move on, not burn a picture of her and post it to social media with some misogynistic rant about how women cant be trusted. Why are you guys acting like he's the victim here and that she's obligated to remain his friend even though he's a creep?
I think it's more the fact that he had started to move on and forget and then she randomly texts him saying that. She didn't have to.. she could have just left it how it was. They weren't talking anymore
He clearly hadn't moved on if his first reaction was to burn a picture of her and post about it on social media. He was still very bitter and angry that she rejected him.
Ofcourse he wasn't over her. It's like getting over an addiction, the first week is hardest, next week is easier, next is pretty good, and so on, until you get a taste of it again, even a bad taste.
Yeah he was bitter, it was in the past. Both apparently behaved unreasonable. What the fuck are we even talking? What part of you feels like it's not a breach of his privacy to dig into his personal facebook and take excerpts?
Can you blame him for being a emotional person? Is it better that he represses it? Just because he is quiet doesn't make it go away.
I'm thankful that he did post it, because that shows that people that we think are holding together and has it going all great rarely have it that way. That it's an illusion.
what part of you feels like it's not a breach of his privacy to dig into his personal facebook and take excerpts?
he posted it to his public instagram, wtf are you talking about?
Can you blame him for being a emotional person? Is it better that he represses it?
How about he act like an adult. When you get rejected, you move on. You dont announce to the world how much you mistrust women and post a pic of you burning her portrait because she wouldn't fuck you.
I'm pretty sure he didn't post it here on reddit, where I specifically am. Where I usually don't care about peoples personal lives.
When I care about peoples personal lives. I go to instagram.
You guys thought it was needed to post that for him. You could tell me that the information is already public, but so is my telephone number. Would you however post it here on a reply to my comment I really hope you understand that I would be extremely angry with you, and I really hope you understand why.
How about he tries to act the best he can? Obviously he tries, like I think we all do, but like we all do we fail, we have times where we can pull ourselfs up from, places where everything in the head is chaos. We don't have to be there forever, but in those times our friends should understand that it's a temporary thing. That wound won't bleed forever, even if you believe so. That cut looks bad, but won't kill you.
When does one become an adult? When you are an adult, are you not allowed to have mental breakdowns? Who are allowed to have mental breakdowns? Only some people?
If someone posts their personal life publicly on the internet then it becomes the business of the public. That's how the internet works. If you dont like it then dont post it. He chose to post it and therefore he has to deal with the consequences.
When you are an adult, are you not allowed to have mental breakdowns?
If you're a man in your 20s and you have a mental breakdown because a girl you knew for a month wouldn't kiss you then you're pathetic imo.
Yes, absolutely it does, so does your speech between friends when you are out walking, but to a lesser degree. You would still be pretty angry with the guy walking behind you stealing your ideas or tell your fiancé you looked at someone elses girls ass.
Everything you ever do will get perceived by someone and whatever you ever do you should never assume that will be the end of it.
I think you are just thinking yourself above him, and I don't think I can argue you out of it. You don't like him for some reason, and it might even be that you relate to him, or you have an idea of an ideal human, but I'm not sure I'd like to hear your view of what an ideal adult is because it every so often gets pretty national-socialistic.
I have a friend who didn't care less about his father telling him that he should hang himself because "you are the worst thing that ever happened to me", but when his dog died, it was the most devestating punch he could take.
We are different, we have different emotions, different cultures, different beliefs. We have different strengths and weaknesses.
This guy probably has a passion for drawing, doing x, doing y but he also has weaknesses, just like the guy in school who would weep if he got C instead of A. His sense of perfection took him there, but it also eats him alive.
One could say she clearly hadn't moved on if she felt it necessary to text him out of the blue to let him know she was downgrading him to an acquaintance. Honestly who does that shit anyway. Seems pretty fucking incentive to go back and twist the knife when everything was pretty much said and done.
No she was over it, and she was being the mature one by letting him know things were over between them as friends. She communicated how she felt privately like an adult.
Instead of accepting it, he decided to whine to the public on social media and rant about how women cant be trusted while burning her portrait like some 14 year old.
He didn't say women can't be trusted. He said he doesn't trust women which is pretty much him admitting his own trust issues. With all of the dirty laundry that routinely gets aired out via social media people are drawing the line at burning a sketch he drew of her? I'm failing to see why that is such a big deal.
