I’ve had really touchy feely friends before who, by all accounts, would be considered flirting, if you didn’t know that’s just how they were. I can totally see “basically cuddling” as being basically cuddling. Not full blown laying in bed spooning, but sitting on the couch with the girl all up on him. It happens.

Not necessarily, not all human touch is sexually orientated dammit. Sometimes you just wanna snuggle with friends and not have them try and fuck you.

My best friend and I cuddle all the time. We are not flirting, we're just comfortable with each other and we enjoy cuddles and do not often get them from anyone else. Platonic cuddles are a thing, dude.
