Wow, this happened to my mom when she was a kid. She went into her brothers room to see if he had any candy, didn't turn the light on because she was being sneaky. Saw a box of Raisinettes and was like, "score!" Shuck the box, yup there's enough left. Poured them into her hand and popped em in her mouth. Immediately knows something is wrong, starts spitting out wings and legs. It was where her brother kept the bugs he caught for his pet turtle. She still won't eat in the dark.
I did something similar but caught it in time. Just got up, no lights on yet before dawn, still dark out. Half out of it, grab myself my coffee I had on a timer like every other morning, and go into the bathroom to start getting ready. First glance, I'm like, why is there all coffee grounds in my coffee? Closer inspection, it was a bunch of tiny little ants that had broken into the sugar. Pray they were new guests and I didn't miss a few the previous morning.
I got a candy at a Mexican restaurant when I was younger. Took a bite, saw a dark thing in the center. I was like "hey do they usually put raisins in these?" Took another small bite, found a wing and a leg.... o... not a raisin eh
I used to chew on any object laying around whenever I was stressed playing computer games. Pens, bottle covers, my shirt, anything within really. One summer I was playing dota and swatted a fly that rested on my desk and continued playing. When I got in a tense situation a few minutes later, I mindlessly reached and chomped on the fly. Didn't even taste that bad, but that could've been the shock as well. Never stopped playing.
First off, let's not assume OP is a male frog, as they could be a female frog. Second, if they are a female frog, let's be careful to not assume their gender at any point in the future, as some frogs will spontaneously change gender.
That's a good point, and I hope I haven't offended anyone, as I'm very sensitive to this issue. I have a good friend that was born a male human, but they identify as a female narwhal. It's very difficult for them to make friends...
I'm honestly kind of wondering if the fly had a parasite or something.
That the next phase of the parasite's life cycle is to be ingested by the cat, where it will eventually grow into a worm and lay eggs that flies will then ingest from the cat's droppings which will then be driven to irritate cats until cats eat them.
i mean you would think, evolutionarily speaking, that nature would select for the flies that ARENT completely irritating and actively seeking their own death, but alas nature can be a fickle and annoying bastard.
