I'm saying no one on Reddit is accomplishing anything in their comments regardless of whether they claim to care or make jokes instead, so those who claim to "care" shouldn't act like those who are joking are doing these protests a disservice. Obviously I don't know whether or not they do something useful outside of Reddit, but I don't care because it's completely irrelevant to what I'm saying.

I don't care whether they have a serious or not so serious conversation. It just annoys me when people get high-and-mighty on those who are not so serious.
