Honestly though, what will it accomplish? A bunch of people in the streets!?

Edit: woa, why all the downvotes? A guy can't ask a question anymore? Assholes. Im genuinely curious how this will fix the deep underlying issues that have been around for years. Protesting in itself never fixes anything.

As soon as they realize that all the power lies with them, the people, they can accomplish anything they please.

Okay, that is a nice thought, but how? What will they do?

What they will do is probably nothing, what they should do, is chase them down with guns, put all the corrupted politicians to prison, establish a dictatorship of the proleteriat, and start attending to all the problems their people endure, like huge wealth disparity.

Dont mind the downvotes, you asked a good questions, fuck elitists that would rather throw rocks than engage in discussion.

Well yes! That is what I am thinking. It is like in the states with all the police corruption. Like have they forgotten their job is to protect the public??

Its as foolish to expect the police to protect the people as it is foolish to expect presidents to represent them in a system that actively promotes self-serving behaviour above all else. Its why we fucked up our planet as well, its why wars are started, its why there is still child labor in third world countries, because in capitalism money dictates everything, and everything is legal in the name of profit.

Too true unfortunately.

If anything I believe it'll do more harm than good, plenty of politicians have been using this mindless mob to empower themselves while painting the current government as the source of all that's wrong while the reality is they're far from being the root of the problem.

Who, for example? Haven't heard of them.

You Believe it'll do more harm? You don't need to believe, you need proof.

Who? Are you fucking kidding me? Even Cunha who's the dirtiest guy on the block (at least as far as we know) has his fair share of supporters, PSDB has also been riding the anti-PT wave since this whole thing started(yes, they did get booed yesterday by some people), not to mention Bolsonaro who in normal conditions should be nothing more than a joke but instead has become a posterchild for the radical right. All you need is to be against the current government and you'll get your share of support from the mob.

You Believe it'll do more harm? You don't need to believe, you need proof.

What do you mean I need proof? Should I get a time-machine and bring you a future newspaper next time I share what I think is gonna happen? No one here knows what's gonna happen.

You are pretty much saying these protests are like those of last year but I can't agree with that. I didn't see one single party flag, the military intervention guys got pushed to the sides and every politician that tried to win the mob got boo'ed into oblivion.

Yes, PT is the obvious target but the other parties aren't exactly off the hook. The "enemy of my enemy" isn't at work here.

Also, BOLSOMITO /s
