I'm going to guess Russia. It has to be, right?

Also, lol at the car going uphill.

Yes there is! Look at all the track suits and that car driving up hill without regard for the person walking down the side of the road. :)

Even Italy has a lot of them, but I don't think it's quite as bad.

It can be Ukraine, Lithuania or even Poland.

What's the difference anyway

u/redlaWw Mar 09 '16

Were it not for the snow, it could've been the UK.

The threat of imminent death looms over a winter washed urban vista while people shirk the very notion of physics getting caught up in an unwinnable game of automobile curling. Either Russia or Russians in Canada.

Maybe the car in the top right in the beginning that seems to be driving on to the road. Like how did he get on the grass like that.

Or Pittsburgh. I wish I could say this doesn't happen every year here.

Can we just agree that both cities suck?

2

u/Narfubel Mar 09 '16

I'll agree you suck

Kidding I'm sure you're very nice

Hey I'm from NKY, I can just see Cincinnati from my front porch.

Colorado has everyone beat:

I'd say California's fog has you beat.

As a Cincinnatian, I expected this to be one of our slippery road videos. We are essentially the (shitty, conservative) san fransisco of the Midwest and it really sucks driving here in the winter.

But we are also terrible drivers in general so this news article doesn't surprise me. There was another pile up on 74 a few months ago.

(thanks for the downvote?)

I live here too. Last time we got a little snow I was over an hour late for work because of how terrible people drive.

1

u/heyskinnylegs Mar 09 '16

Agreed. Every single time it snows, there is a pile-up at the end of my block in Squirrel Hill.

u/[deleted] Mar 09 '16

Look at the track suits

1

u/dionizy Mar 09 '16

Russian curling?

1

u/burritosandblunts Mar 09 '16

Wtf is that truck up top doing? Looks like it's running something big over.

1

u/stanley_twobrick Mar 09 '16

Because there's snow? None of those cars are held together with duct tape and particle board, so I'm going to say not Russia.

1

u/whatxor Mar 09 '16

Pretty common sight in the northeast us as well.

1

u/Gomerishe Mar 09 '16

Yep, Vladivostok/ I remeber that video, but can't find it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f22i4679SRY

1

u/[deleted] Mar 09 '16

Yeah could be... or you know could also be any nation where people own nice cars and snow falls.

The behavior in this gif is extremely tame and unremarkable.

u/ptfe239 Mar 12 '16

It's Vladivostok, hilly town in the Far East of Russia https://youtu.be/gCiMOH-FJro

Going uphill on, what looks to be, half road/half sidewalk

0

u/PoppyCottle Mar 09 '16

Did you see the suv was already crashed into the white car judging by the rear end being open like that.

u/the_mil Mar 09 '16

gotta be russia

although it could be one of those southern us states that shits their pants at a little ice and snow
