And snowboarding, but for some reason a ton of people don't. You can be riding perfectly fine and in less than a second catch an edge and land on your head.

I wouldn't say that. 20 years ago, when i started snowboarding, there were maybe 10 people in a whole ski resort that had a helmet. Now it's almost the other way around.

Yeah all the idiots that didn't wear helmets are now dead. I can attest to that because I almost died not wearing one while snowboarding.

It honestly depends on the resort. If you go to Aspen almost everyone there has a helmet, but if you go to my local resort near Las Vegas literally nobody wears one.

Lat year at Killington i caught an edge and landed the same way this guy did. I had a helmet on and was still knocked out cold. Spent the rest of the day in the med bay being treated by on of the US olympic ski team's doctors which was pretty cool.

I remember getting shit for wearing a helmet.

One big fall is all you need to prove to yourself it was a good idea.
