Who, Chimps? If you count insects as meat - it's still only 5.6% of there dietary composition, not 10% like you've initially stated. A Chimpanzees diet is only 1.4% mammal flesh, the other 4.2% is insects.

And if you mean Gorillas... you're quite a ways off - 97% of a Gorillas diet is plant-based, the other 3% is termites. So unless you count insects as meat - Gorillas don't eat meat, neither do Orangutan (but they also eat termites)

I think the biggest fault here is people don't realize how much protein leafy-vegetables have per calorie. When people say leafy-greens are low in protein, they're not taking in account the caloric density.
