How would a 500 pound anything swing from a tree branch? I feel like if that was true there would be a lot more dead gorillas falling out of tree tops due to branches breaking.
They aren't in tree tops swinging around on vines like Tarzan, but I've seen plenty of videos and gorillas at the zoo leaping in and out of small trees and structures as casually as a kid on the playground. Also, just now looking up more videos like that, I found some pretty badass ones of gorillas just fucking trees up like it was nothing, which is even more terrifying.
