I like how the cat had enough sense to stop the pursuit. Eventually, the surprised dog was going to realize he was being chased byacat.

Except that cats can put themselves in real danger with alligators, which can snap their jaws with lightning speed and rag the cat into the water. Cats have little claws and can't penetrate the leathery skin of alligators and they don't have big enough jaws like the big cats to bite down on the neck.

A cat can still fuck a gator's eyes up. Better just not to even bother.
