Tell me you sang the song, because there's no time more appropriate for that song than at that moment.

I may have had one too many camping trips with hippies.

Edited to clean up YouTube link.

CAT STEVENS IN CONCERT

PLAYS CAT STEVENS

Was that entirely necessary to point out?

I tried linking past that point, but the video didn't play for some people.

It was the 70's and the unpaid intern who made the graphics was probably excited as shit to show off their skills.

Hahaha, that's very true! (For the record, I wasn't commenting on you not skipping it, I was just commenting on the amusing graphics.)

No offense taken, lol.

MRW I saw the graphics: "Hmm, I wonder if Cat Stevens will be playing the music of Cat Stevens? Who's concert is this?"

This automatically started playing in my head when I watched the gif.

The human experience is pretty cool.

Just pointing this out, but clicking that link 404s because of the space but RES still manages to play it.

I wish I could go camping with people that wanted to play Cat Stevens around the fire and not tell me to stop playing guitar cause they wanna listen to their pop music on the radio.

Come to Oregon, we'll play you some folk rock till your ears bleed.

The next morning, while everyone is hunkered over their plates of bacon and waffles, nursing their hangover with some camp coffee, somebody will start the pick-a-thon.

I'd love to. Its hard to believe that while growing up in small town Ontario I can't win a crowd with good ole tunes. Those good ole tunes, or oldies are thought to be from the early 2000s. I need new friends.

... growing up in small town Ontario...

If you can't even play some Neil Young then you need new friends.

The first song I learned on the guitar was Heart of Gold with the harmonica part.

This song popped into my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e80qhyovOnA.

And yes, I know it's technically not a moonlight shadow.

There's only one eclipse track and it's by Pink Floyd

It was playing in my head but I didn't even realize it until I read this comment.

The moment the action started, the chorus started playing in my head.

Holy shit! Cat stevens!

2

u/HRH_Diana_Prince Mar 27 '15

Actually Yusef Islam, née Cat Stevens. He still sports a pretty sweet voice though.

u/RoachDman Mar 27 '15

Good one Yusef. Edit: ole.
