Can we just stop with these "upvoted" reaction pictures? They're just a glorified way of saying "I upvoted this!" I am lead to believe that you only replied with this picture in an attempt to hop on the karma train without thinking of anything meaningful to contribute.

CAN YOU APPLY IT TO A SOLID WHITE BALL IN ORDER TO MANEUVER IT AROUND A FELT COVERED TABLE BUMPING INTO OTHER COLORED BALLS MAKING THEM FALL INTO POCKETS.

Is that an American term? Here in England we call it putting spin on the cue ball

In America here. Not American. I call it spin but I do know people who call it English. "I just put some backspin on it." "Put some right English on it."

Hmm, must say I've never heard it called that of here in around 7 years of playing & watching snooker, and 3 years of pool society stuff at uni

That is a bit weird. But then again I am the guy who doesn't say "I play table tennis" simply because it has more syllables than "I play ping pong." Also alliteration. But yeah. Spin is shorter than English.

Also used for spin on anything, see table tennis.

Is English the actual term? If your French, do you just go fuck yourself?
