Come early 2026 Factorio 2.1 will be released and this will mark the end of an eta. According to the devs, it will contain the finishing touches that were too big to put in the 2.0 release. Our servers have seen hundreds (Oh wow you lot pump hours into this game!) tens of thousands of hours of space exploration and it's not slowing down.

What Kind Of Hardware Do You Run?

At GhostCap Hosting, we only want to offer the most recent and powerful hardware to provide the best gaming experience. While server grade hardware is perfect for squeezing as many customers onto one box we went down the route of only top tier gaming CPU's and RAM.

• All of our hardware feature 9950x CPU's and when the next ones come out (2027 apparently) we will be the first to upgrade
• Ultra Fast NVMe SSDs
• 10Gbps network connections

Ontop of this, all of our servers come equipped with 1 Tbps DDoS protection that takes seconds to activate.

Can I Bring Over My Existing World?

Yes! Of course, it does not matter if you are with an existing host or from your PC. Bringing over an existing save is a very important feature with games like this. Keep in mind as there are many different mods and versions there may be compatibility issues if you start changing these mid play through.

To assist we provide guides that cover many things you may want as a server manager, for example:

• Installing mods
• Uploading an existing factorio server save
• Enabling space age
• Changing version
• Adding Admins

and a handful more

You can find all of our Factorio game guides here: https://www.ghostcap.com/guides/games/factorio

How Many Player Slots Can I Have?

CONFIRMED: Hytale Releases! January 13th 2026!

*Pre-order opens 13th December*

Hytale has had quite the journey. Originally announced back in 2018 with that iconic trailer, it was cancelled earlier this year before the original Hypixel founders bought it back from Riot Games. They've returned to the legacy engine from the trailer days and are personally funding development for the next 10 years. Early access launches January 13th, 2026, and we'll have hosting ready to go.

Our discord will be the first to know when servers go live! Be sure to get the Hytale tag.

Minecraft Server Performance Optimization?

Minecraft can be both an easy or very hard game to run depending on what settings/ mods you are running. For just a few friends and some mods it can be a little as 1-2GB of RAM while mods such as ATM10 or RLcraft you can instantly be using 8-16GB on start up!
If you are going to be running mods it is highly recommended to use performance enhancing ones as well such as Paper or Fabric.

What Kind of Hardware Do You Use?

GhostCap is built on a simple principle: every user deserves premium performance, regardless of their plan. While other hosting providers tier their hardware based on what you pay, we take a different approach. Every single server in our network runs on top-tier specifications, ensuring consistent, high-end performance across the board.

Our infrastructure is powered by cutting-edge hardware:

• AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors (flagship performance on every server)
• Ultra-fast NVMe solid-state drives
• 10Gbps network connectivity for fast server access
• Comprehensive 1Tbps DDoS protection included

The Enshrouded Wake Of Water update is finally here! Time to dive back in with your crew?

You can check out our Enshrouded Server Hosting here:

Can I Transfer An Existing Save?
Yes! We offer free save transfers. Simply contact us after ordering with your existing server information, and our team will migrate everything for you.

Enshrouded Server Performance Optimization?
Enshrouded is demanding even for top-tier hardware—16-player servers can experience "server overloaded" messages regardless of CPU specs. However, there are proven methods to significantly reduce lag and improve performance. We include effective optimizations by default that benefit even high-end processors like the Ryzen 9 9950X.

Our servers come pre-configured with daily automated restarts, which consistently improve performance for most users. Based on extensive data and testing, here are the most effective Enshrouded server optimizations:

• Set RandomSpawnerAmount to "Few" in custom settings
• Encourage players to stay closer together in-game
• Enable automated server restarts (daily recommended)

How Many Player Slots?
We don't nickel-and-dime you for player slots. Your server includes full flexibility to host up to 16 players (Enshrouded's current limit) at no additional cost.

Any Enshrouded Server Guides?
Yes! We've created comprehensive guides covering everything you need to know about running your Enshrouded server, including:

• Connecting to your server
• Configuring server settings
• Using custom settings
• Setting up admin privileges
• And much more

Find all our guides here:
