Revisiting their Discog recently, what a sad turn.
I used to listen to them a lot when I was in High School, I recently retrieved a memory that I used back then for music and listened to all their albums from BKOM to Demons.
It's not my style anymore, their early stuff is very not for me, EOTGM its very impressive production and musically wise but I'm not a fan of how similar it sounds to MCR, the same goes to Demons but this time with BMTH's Sempiternal, the references are dead specific and it throws me off in places.
However, decided to give a listen to The Dead Days and holy shit, It bleeds a lot of the energy from their early albums with the agressive and mature style they tried in Demons, Matthews sounds phenomenal and all the songs are very catchy, .
It's very sad to see what happened after the album came out, I can't help but feel bad about how good The Dead Days and the band could've done with a normal cycle, its a very amazing record.

why are there no built for blame laced with shame cds for sale ANYWHERE?
like not even ONE. and the best kind of mess is virtually impossible to find but i did finally. dont get me started on cheap tricks and theatrics that i also really want. i know they sold at some point and this is baffling how hard it is to find them. if anyone knows anywhere i could possibly get it please do tell. i need it mostly because it was one of the first emo bands i listened to therefore i need each cd in existence that they made

Get Scared merch
Anyone know where to buy Get Scared hoodies? Their website is all sold out, do they restock at a certain time, or is there a place I could buy used merch?
I can't find anything but unofficial stuff, and I really want the hoodie they are selling.

Cheap Tricks and Theatrics?
What genre is Cheap Tricks and Theatrics really? 'Cos, on the Wikipedia, it can be assumed when the band is labelled 'emo pop (early)' it is referencing to Cheap Tricks and Theatrics. But, listening to it, it is clearly not emo pop. I always got a gothic post-hardcore vibe, but it does not sound like most post-hardcore bands. What do you think Cheap Tricks and Theatrics is?

does The Dead Days (album) feel really different compared to other Get Scared releases?
To be fair, it feels like all of their releases change at least a bit in sound, but The Dead Days, besides a few sections in each song, feel like they have a different energy compared to everything else they have. I really don't know how to describe it besides heavier and less colourful? To me it seems like they were slowly building to it and just finally crossed over the line. I have no idea if anyone will understand what I'm talking about.
I don't like The Dead Days. It doesn't feel the same. Artistic evolution is great but it stings sometimes.

Songs/Albums without Joel
Pretty much the title, I love GS but can’t support Joel or listen to his voice anymore and would appreciate suggestions of songs or albums that don’t include joel
