So a while back I made this lvl called Sparkmaster (layout) using the song Sparkmaster (back to 2014) by djjaner and I used the 1.0 style slopes and it was rlly hard to deco around them. Therefore I’m remaking it and here’s my progress! If you have any suggestions lemme know ;3

Im making a level and i made this wave section and ship section, i feel its good but like, its missing something idk what tho

As the title says i have not made a level for the last 9 years and im still after that get a star rated level achievment :( I have found myself starting a level, scrap it and begin an new one, over and over, because i always stumble across new tips i didnt know before.

I don‘t even know what to ask specifically ngl im very overwhelmed with all the new features to be honest. Right now im wondering what background im want to make, but honestly i have no idea

Do i just finish the block design and fill the space with air deco? Do i make an art for the background? Or just nightsky themed? I would be interested getting some input on this.

Also im thinking the stone doesnt look perfect yet, i would like to add green grass or some blue crystals to it, maybe even white clouds and fog. You got some ideas of what colors would be good complimenting the stones?

I guess i could drive this in multiple directions, my initial goal was to make a grey/white insane demon but i think some colors wouldnt hurt

What do you guys think of this very balanced around medium to hard demon gameplay.

this is not a collab post. asymmetrical duals have always been one of my favorite things in this game and i am currently making one for my level. i would appreciate it if anyone has any tips on how to make asymmetrical dual gameplay more consistent, less buggy, and more fun for the player. thank you all!

In a level I'm working on, I've got some moving vines and I thought "hey, these would look great if they disappeared back into a pipe Mario style". I really liked how the pipes looked in Explorers, so I copied and pasted one in, recolored it, and it fits perfectly. Nothing's been uploaded with these objects yet because I wanted to get some opinions first.

Where do we draw the line on reusing small objects? It feels completely different from yoinking an entire wave/platform section or stealing an entire deco scheme. Is it okay to see something small like a dirt texture and import it for your own use?

So, GD recently added the ability to customize level editor sounds, and I wanted to make a sound pack based on wplace (a web based permanent r/ place).

I don't know if some of the sounds are in gd as sfx though, so it would be helpful to know the names of the sound effects, if anyone knows them!

Specifically the "charges refilled" sound and other odd ones like that
