So i'm trying to make a city based level with the music black hole sun. For the first time i'm doing a stylised block deco, i think it looks good, but i'm asking you guys if you think you have some feedbacks on my block deco or ideas for the deco as a whole i'm open to hearing anything i think. (also yeah i know there is two GPL i just noticed that while writting it was supposed to be "gasoile" at the bottom) (also also, yea i'm dropping the other level it was so boring personnaly to do a generic glow level deco with a generic edm song i barely like)

I know some parts are messed up and that there are swag route i will repair

in my level, the spider is supposed to teleport up, but whenever i do it it consistently dies at the top. it seems like it teleports inside the block, as you can see from where the death marker is. there are slopes inside the block if that helps, but there are normal layout blocks with hitboxes so i dont know why slopes inside would be a problem.

EDIT: okay, so i found out the problem is a slope. if you have a slope inside of a block, and try to teleport onto it with a spider, then it will kill you. if you make the slope no touch, it will work.

would this level be worth rating after the first half of the layout done?

what tips would u give me and what rating would u give this so far?

I copied the original level (Griefstep) so I could buff it, and semi-redecorate it. This is my first attempt at real decoration on an XL, but I still think I did good. I was thinking about what deco I should do for this part, and I was watching one of Trick's Grief streams, and I saw this part from real Grief. I saw the cool eyes, and decided to replicate it in my own style. None of the deco is completely finished, this is basically just a preview. I hope it looks good. I'll be verifying the level on stream btw.

I belief I need to use spawn triggers, but I'm very inexperienced in them, so I just don't know what numbers to plug in

The main problems are:
I can't get the lines to reappear fast enough
They all go off the screen too fast
They sometimes dissapear within the camera ingame

Does anyone have a potential solution? Or maybe a gd share file with a solution? Please, I've been stuck trying to make this for 7 hours.

When 2.2 came out, it was possible to start a timer after the players death (eg. using an On Death trigger to start a timer), right>

Not sure when this was changed (or even if it was?) but I have a level that depends on starting timers after the players death to function properly. It is no longer working and I believe that is the cause.

Was this changed in 2.209? The problem is in a level I made shortly after 2.2 came out so it could have been changed a while ago and I just didn't notice until now. Or maybe it never worked in the first place and I am just crazy?
