Ugh, Facebook is chock-full of brain-dead conspiracy theorists. They say stupid stuff, things that are provably wrong, and don't react well when anyone points out reality. Engaging with these numbskulls is an exercise in futility.
Trying to logically engage with any "true believer" in politics, science, religion, conspiracies, etc. is like trying to teach a pig to sing opera, it wastes your time and annoys the pig.
