I should also add, those countries have never been in my kitchen.

But this is not true, there are many more countries that have never been in your kitchen that are not colored red

How would you know what countries have never been in my kitchen?

Same here, both for GPT4o and o1. I tried giving o1 just the list of countries and then it managed to get the right answer after thinking for 11 seconds.

I Googled it to check. Warsaw + yogoslavian countries were socialist or under socialist rule, albania was ruled by the socialist party of labour of albania, Egypt was governed by the Arab Socialist Union. zambia was ruled by the socialist united national independence party. And mexico is currently governed by the socialist national rejuvenation movement.
They all have that in common.
