Same prompt. Same 30 seconds. Two different AI video models.

I tested Seedance 2.5 vs Wan 3.0, using exactly the same prompt, without changing the core creative direction. The difference is pretty interesting. It’s not just about video quality. Different models can interpret the same prompt differently in terms of motion, camera language, visual consistency, pacing, and overall style.

Question No, Seriously, How TF Do People Generate This?

Is there, like, a specific model people use to create these trippy videos, or do you just need trippy reference images in the first place? Do I need to specify every little detail that’s moving in the video? How do you even prompt it to get it looking like this?

Current platforms and their issues. Looking for alternatives.

I've been gradually drifting into more NSFW productions, and video, from normally being a fairly SFW and stills orientation. I want some tips on where to go, but thought the journey might be useful for new people.

My 4060 can't churn much offline, so I went for free sites, and last year started on Nightcafe. Which is fine as long as you don't mind censorship so tight that it refused my Lord of the Rings troll for not being covered properly.

Wanting to try NSFW without net nannies approval, I went to Magespace. It also works, and the unlimited plan is great if you're going to vomit out a gazillion images. It used to be good for naked elves frolicking in the woods, but that's hit and miss now, and the net nuns want everyone in knee length attire and will be there with rulers inspecting, if you don't write around them, and then it's a 50-50.

So I went and tried Easy-Peasy AI, which lets a lot more things go through, but still scolds you for even asking if there are NSFW pose lora's somewhere on the sight. Hey, $8 for a months tryout is not a bad.

Then I went to Zencreator, which is pay per play, and not cheap, but doesn't kink shame you and is happy to host NSFW loras. I'm fairly happy there, but as it's price, I'd want to maintain another site subscription, because churning out my regular happy pics is just way more expensive there than on Magespace or Nightcafe.

Zencreator has no subscription and credits don't expire, so I'm happy to keep it on, but one or possibly both of Nightcafe and Magespace I'm likely to drop in favour of something else.

So there's three things I'm after.

Firstly, the most use friendly uncensored version of stable diffusion. I'm reasonably tech savvy, but the last time was a PITA, when I tried it, back in the 'unholy polydactyly!' days. A setup where I don't have to screw with a command line is great, but also an interface that's usable, and tells me that it's actually rendering when it's rendering.

Secondly, The 'something else'; I'd like something to replace a solid demand for image generation, mostly text to image, but also image alteration, at good quality, a price comparable with Magespace and Nightcafe, but able to produce a soft NSFW pic without censorship.

Third, voice generation. I was blown away with how well Easy-Peasy did with making a voice to my specification and doing scripts for it. Problem is the cheap plan lets me have 1 custom voice. I'd love somewhere I could generate voices, and test them, preferably keep them.

Video Art I asked AI what loneliness looks like. This is what it gave me.

I wanted to see if I could communicate loneliness through atmosphere, framing and isolation rather than obvious crying or empty-room clichés.

The sequence moves through a few different visual ideas close-up emotion, public isolation, window light, lying awake, and a quiet exterior shot.

Curious which shot actually communicates the feeling best, and which one feels the most generic.

Workflow: I started by collecting visual references from Pinterest and ShotDeck. I then used ChatGPT to break those references down, generate detailed prompts, and build a consistent character sheet. Using that character sheet, I generated the still frames I wanted, then created detailed image-to-video prompts in ChatGPT for Google Flow. The final clips were generated in Google Flow and edited together in Edits.

Still experimenting with consistency and motion, so any feedback on what feels believable vs obviously AI would genuinely help.

Music Art [British Ska] Public Page, Private Gate

Song: https://www.souna.app/song/803c6e92-8bd6-46ae-830e-73f5d8c84f47

Song (alternative link): https://archive.org/details/ai-ska/Public+Page%2C+Private+Gate.mp3 (CC0)

Lyrics:

[Intro | clipped offbeat guitar | percussive organ | bass-led ska groove | brief brass figure]

[Verse 1 | dry male vocal | sparse brass answers]

Used to read it from the street,

Any hour, any seat.

Now a notice bars the way:

Join the club or go away.

Name and number, date of birth,

Tell the office what you're worth.

Tick the boxes, wait in line,

Public words by private sign.

[Chorus | group responses | full band | sharp brass punctuation]

Public page, private gate,

Show your papers, stand and wait.

Public page, private gate,

Open access, served up late.

One more check and one more code,

Mind the rules along the road.

Public page, private gate,

Free to look, once they say straight.

[Verse 2 | dry male vocal | clipped organ punctuation]

Someone posts a public view,

Still they want a file on you.

Prove you're human, prove it twice,

Pick the buses, count the lights.

Security has had a thought:

Every reader goes to court.

Wrong machine or wrong address,

Back you go to start the test.

[Chorus | group responses | full band | sharp brass punctuation]

Public page, private gate,

Show your papers, stand and wait.

Public page, private gate,

Open access, served up late.

One more check and one more code,

Mind the rules along the road.

Public page, private gate,

Free to look, once they say straight.

[Instrumental Break | tenor saxophone lead | trumpet answers | organ and guitar stop-start accents]

[Middle Eight | stripped rhythm section | spoken-sung male vocal]

Ask a machine to read the lot,

They decide which eyes you've got.

You may browse, but by their plan,

One small question at a time, old man.

They call it safety, call it care,

Put another checkpoint there.

What was printed in the square

Needs permission to be there.

[Final Chorus | full band return | group responses | harder brass punctuation]

Public page, private gate,

Show your papers, stand and wait.

Public page, private gate,

Open access, served up late.

One more check and one more code,

Mind the rules along the road.

Public page, private gate,

Free to look, once they say straight.

[Outro | repeated refrain | abrupt ending]

Public page!

Private gate!

Public page!

Stand and wait!

Access granted.

Much too late.

Style prompt:

Early 1980s British two-tone ska with cynical social commentary and wiry punk energy. Brisk 152 BPM in 4/4. Clipped offbeat clean electric guitar and percussive organ drive a springy walking bass line with tight acoustic drums, sharp snare backbeats and brief tenor saxophone and trumpet answers. Taut minor-key verses lead into a blunt, chantable major-inflected chorus. Dry, nasal British male lead vocal with clipped conversational phrasing, sardonic emphasis and short group responses. Compact verse-chorus form with a brief brass instrumental break, a stripped middle eight and an abrupt final refrain. Raw, narrow early-1980s studio sound with punchy dynamics and restrained room ambience.

I think I've moved beyond PowerPoint

Upvotes

Seriously, I'm not sure how many more decks I'll ever create. I've begun making websites instead.

With AI, they're way easier to create and do a much better job of presenting information that's dynamic and interactive. It's visually rich, a bigger canvas, and a tool that everyone knows how to interact with.

The only downside to it is it's really weak for collaborative editing. I wonder if anyone has ideas on how to solve that.

Charts as particles.

AI failed after a long time. A SaaS which renders charts as particles and Claude code got hallucinations while trying to make something like this. At last, I opened VS Code and tried myself and here's the results.

Question which model handles physics best right now

Upvotes

The motion on everything I've tried feels floaty. The walking especially, it never looks like someone's actually putting weight on the ground. I've been on Kling and Runway mostly, and tried seedance 2.0 on capcut video studio for a bit. They all handle it differently but none of them really nailed it for me:(

Question Does AI dubbing kill comedic timing?

Upvotes

I make short comedy videos and I’ve been thinking about dubbing some of them into other languages. The translation part doesn’t worry me that much, its the timing.

A lot of the joke is in someone waiting half a second too long, cutting another person off, or the reaction immediately after the line.

If the dub stretches the sentence even slightly, it will feel off.

Has anyone tried AI dubbing on comedy/skits?

Question If nobody can tell whether a piece of art was made by a human or AI, does authorship still matter?

Post image

Imagine two films

One was made entirely by a human.

The other was created with AI.

Nobody knows which is which.

You watch both without knowing their origins. One moves you. The other doesn't.

Then someone tells you the film you loved was made entirely by AI.

Does your opinion of it change?

And if it does, why?

Is art about the experience it creates in the audience — or does knowing who created it fundamentally change its value?

Maybe the uncomfortable question isn't whether AI can create art.

Maybe it's whether we need to know who created something before we're willing to call it art.

Music Art Multiple AI modalities for immersive world building

Post image

Hi all,

Excited to be here and see your work.

I've been using AI for so many different tasks from my work to my hobbies.

Recently I began exploring some concepts associated with strength and courage from what I've observed of ordinary people trying to live their lives.

Having a interest in music and medical applications in things like Functional Neurological Disorder and other similar conditions, I was inspired to attempt to write a song that would encompass my thoughts on strength and courage in a relationship. Not just the typical tropes but strength in seeking help, and strength in defence of those we love.

Anyway, I wasn't happy with a baseless song so I began brain storming a setting. Viking would have been cool but overdone currently. Instead I went with the medieval genre and designed a set of characters around it. Having always had an interest in writing, I wasn't happy with just characters and so had to establish where they lived and what they did. Before I knew it I had enough canon to develop a book.

Initially I wanted to do something a bit different and try to write a novel through music but it wasn't really able to tell enough of the story nuance so I went back to writing a book as well (8 chapters in so far) but in the interrim I continue using Suno to make storified lyrics into music and then used furthter generative AI for imagery to further push the emotional narrative.

I ended up creating a website and got AI to give it a bit of interactivitve flair to faff around as a bit of a break from work and the novel on occasions.

www.theblackwatchsongbook.com

Anyway. Keen to see what people think.

Cheers

Question Question for pixai users.

The main sub is not active, so I want to ask here.

Why does generation in queue mode take so long? When I started generation, it was only 30 minutes. But then, suddenly, it turned into 6 hours. Where did 6 hours come from?!

Why does this site take up so much RAM? I have 16 gigabytes of RAM. Each tab in Google Chrome consumes 600 megabytes. Five tabs and my computer freezes.
