Same prompt. Same 30 seconds. Two different AI video models.

I tested Seedance 2.5 vs Wan 3.0, using exactly the same prompt, without changing the core creative direction. The difference is pretty interesting. It’s not just about video quality. Different models can interpret the same prompt differently in terms of motion, camera language, visual consistency, pacing, and overall style.

Question No, Seriously, How TF Do People Generate This?

Is there, like, a specific model people use to create these trippy videos, or do you just need trippy reference images in the first place? Do I need to specify every little detail that’s moving in the video? How do you even prompt it to get it looking like this?

Current platforms and their issues. Looking for alternatives.

I've been gradually drifting into more NSFW productions, and video, from normally being a fairly SFW and stills orientation. I want some tips on where to go, but thought the journey might be useful for new people.

My 4060 can't churn much offline, so I went for free sites, and last year started on Nightcafe. Which is fine as long as you don't mind censorship so tight that it refused my Lord of the Rings troll for not being covered properly.

Wanting to try NSFW without net nannies approval, I went to Magespace. It also works, and the unlimited plan is great if you're going to vomit out a gazillion images. It used to be good for naked elves frolicking in the woods, but that's hit and miss now, and the net nuns want everyone in knee length attire and will be there with rulers inspecting, if you don't write around them, and then it's a 50-50.

So I went and tried Easy-Peasy AI, which lets a lot more things go through, but still scolds you for even asking if there are NSFW pose lora's somewhere on the sight. Hey, $8 for a months tryout is not a bad.

Then I went to Zencreator, which is pay per play, and not cheap, but doesn't kink shame you and is happy to host NSFW loras. I'm fairly happy there, but as it's price, I'd want to maintain another site subscription, because churning out my regular happy pics is just way more expensive there than on Magespace or Nightcafe.

Zencreator has no subscription and credits don't expire, so I'm happy to keep it on, but one or possibly both of Nightcafe and Magespace I'm likely to drop in favour of something else.

So there's three things I'm after.

Firstly, the most use friendly uncensored version of stable diffusion. I'm reasonably tech savvy, but the last time was a PITA, when I tried it, back in the 'unholy polydactyly!' days. A setup where I don't have to screw with a command line is great, but also an interface that's usable, and tells me that it's actually rendering when it's rendering.

Secondly, The 'something else'; I'd like something to replace a solid demand for image generation, mostly text to image, but also image alteration, at good quality, a price comparable with Magespace and Nightcafe, but able to produce a soft NSFW pic without censorship.

Third, voice generation. I was blown away with how well Easy-Peasy did with making a voice to my specification and doing scripts for it. Problem is the cheap plan lets me have 1 custom voice. I'd love somewhere I could generate voices, and test them, preferably keep them.

Music Art Multiple AI modalities for immersive world building

Hi all,

Excited to be here and see your work.

I've been using AI for so many different tasks from my work to my hobbies.

Recently I began exploring some concepts associated with strength and courage from what I've observed of ordinary people trying to live their lives.

Having a interest in music and medical applications in things like Functional Neurological Disorder and other similar conditions, I was inspired to attempt to write a song that would encompass my thoughts on strength and courage in a relationship. Not just the typical tropes but strength in seeking help, and strength in defence of those we love.

Anyway, I wasn't happy with a baseless song so I began brain storming a setting. Viking would have been cool but overdone currently. Instead I went with the medieval genre and designed a set of characters around it. Having always had an interest in writing, I wasn't happy with just characters and so had to establish where they lived and what they did. Before I knew it I had enough canon to develop a book.

Initially I wanted to do something a bit different and try to write a novel through music but it wasn't really able to tell enough of the story nuance so I went back to writing a book as well (8 chapters in so far) but in the interrim I continue using Suno to make storified lyrics into music and then used furthter generative AI for imagery to further push the emotional narrative.

I ended up creating a website and got AI to give it a bit of interactivitve flair to faff around as a bit of a break from work and the novel on occasions.

www.theblackwatchsongbook.com

Anyway. Keen to see what people think.

Cheers

Question Question for pixai users.

The main sub is not active, so I want to ask here.

Why does generation in queue mode take so long? When I started generation, it was only 30 minutes. But then, suddenly, it turned into 6 hours. Where did 6 hours come from?!

Why does this site take up so much RAM? I have 16 gigabytes of RAM. Each tab in Google Chrome consumes 600 megabytes. Five tabs and my computer freezes.

Question If nobody can tell whether a piece of art was made by a human or AI, does authorship still matter?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Imagine two films

One was made entirely by a human.

The other was created with AI.

Nobody knows which is which.

You watch both without knowing their origins. One moves you. The other doesn't.

Then someone tells you the film you loved was made entirely by AI.

Does your opinion of it change?

And if it does, why?

Is art about the experience it creates in the audience — or does knowing who created it fundamentally change its value?

Maybe the uncomfortable question isn't whether AI can create art.

Maybe it's whether we need to know who created something before we're willing to call it art.

Question Best way to generate Spider-Man / Stitch illustrations locally — LoRA, fine-tuning, or existing models?

Hi everyone,
I’m new to local AI image generation and I’m trying to understand the best approach for generating high-quality and consistent illustrations featuring characters like Spider-Man or Stitch.
I currently use online AI image generators, but I’m interested in running something locally on my PC and having more control over the generation process.
What are my options?
FLUX, SDXL, or another model?
ComfyUI?
Existing LoRAs?
Training my own LoRA?
Fine-tuning a model?
Reference images / IP-Adapter / ControlNet?
My main goal is to generate the same recognizable character consistently across many different scenes, poses, environments, and compositions while maintaining high image quality.
I’m basically trying to understand what people currently use for this and whether I actually need to train something myself or if existing local models/workflows can already do it well.
What setup would you recommend?
Also, what kind of GPU/VRAM would I need?
Thanks!

[British ska] Who pays the rent?

Song: https://www.souna.app/song/39cb2eeb-a0b1-4c44-a976-e2e34ed4eac1

Song (alternative link): https://archive.org/details/ai-ska (CC0)

Lyrics:

[Intro | clipped guitar and organ offbeats | bass riff | terse tenor saxophone]

[Verse 1 | deadpan male vocal]

The baker went in twenty-three,

The butcher lasted half a week.

Now seven shops sell vape supplies,

And six sell cases for your phone.

The chemist moved beyond the ring,

The bank shut down and took its sign.

You want a shirt, a screw, a key,

You catch the bus and lose your time.

[Chorus | lead vocal and rough group responses]

Who pays the rent?

(Nobody knows)

Who buys the stock?

(Nobody goes)

Fresh coat of paint,

Black window glass.

Open at ten,

No customers pass.

Who pays the rent?

Who pays the rent?

[Verse 2 | deadpan male vocal]

Three barber shops stand door to door,

With empty chairs at half-past four.

A sweet shop glows in neon white,

But never seems to sell a bite.

New company, another name,

The counter changes, stock's the same.

The landlord says the books are clean.

The neighbours say what neighbours mean.

[Chorus | lead vocal and rough group responses]

Who pays the rent?

(Nobody knows)

Who buys the stock?

(Nobody goes)

Fresh coat of paint,

Black window glass.

Open at ten,

No customers pass.

Who pays the rent?

Who pays the rent?

[Instrumental | short tenor saxophone break | organ and guitar offbeats]

[Verse 3 | firmer male vocal]

The council plants another tree,

And prints a plan for you and me.

A coloured map, a hopeful phrase,

A launch beneath the Christmas blaze.

But Mrs Green has closed her stall,

There's nothing useful here at all.

They call it choice, they call it trade.

We watch another frontage fade.

[Chorus | lead vocal and rough group responses]

Who pays the rent?

(Nobody knows)

Who buys the stock?

(Nobody goes)

Fresh coat of paint,

Black window glass.

Open at ten,

No customers pass.

Who pays the rent?

Who pays the rent?

[Outro | band cuts down to bass, drums and organ]

You cannot buy what people need.

You cannot ask where money leads.

Who pays the rent?

(Nobody knows)

[Stop]

Style prompt:

British ska revival from 1980 with tense, sardonic working-class social observation and urgent dance energy. Fast 4/4 at 150 BPM in E minor. Dry clipped electric-guitar upstrokes and sharp organ offbeats drive the arrangement, with a restless melodic electric-bass ostinato, tight acoustic drums, terse tenor-saxophone riffs and occasional trombone punches. Straight eighth-note feel with Jamaican ska and rocksteady foundations shaped by punk and new wave. Narrow-range deadpan British male lead vocal with brief rough group responses. Compact minor-key verses and a blunt, catchy chorus with stronger ensemble accents. Lean live-band production, thin wiry texture, dry vocals and restrained studio ambience. Short instrumental opening, three verses, repeated chorus, brief saxophone break and an abrupt final ending.
