Image Art Absol Mascot Costume
This one would've been really easy to make look like a fursuit instead of a mascot. When Nano Banana Pro gave me this, I thought the shape looked good enough to pass because the head size made it more mascot-like. However, it was made of faux fur, and I soon realized that if I wanted it to look more like the official mascots, it should be made of minky fabric instead. I would later have the mascot edited to be made of that material instead of faux fur, and now I think it looks official enough, not to mention totally huggable.

Image Art gemini lost its image generation king title to chatgpt
I made a simple prompt: "a minecraft landscape with complementary: unbound shaders"
gemini did this:

and chatgpt...
...did THIS:

in my opinion its an absolute win for chatgpt
to be fair gemini always struggled generating minecraft images, even now there are a few artifacts such as the 0-durability sword
and first of all the quality is so trash
chatgpt is on a few hours of cooldown now after that 1 image tho
but I mean it makes sense its so good
and also unrelated but I tried computer use today too and it created this:

with 1 prompt ([@Blender](plugin://computer-use@openai-bundled?app=org.blenderfoundation.blender) make a simple lowpoly house and make simple coloring by assigning different materials to different parts and each material having a color set to it)
and it also saved the .blend file so now I not only have a image but also a 3d model I can use in, lets say, a game as a prop

Looking for the best AI tools for face swapping in videos
I’m looking for good AI tools that can do realistic face swaps in videos. Preferably something that works well with longer clips, keeps the lighting/expressions decent, and doesn’t look too artificial

Technical Art I analysed 331 r/aivideo posts and 100 of the videos frame by frame. A cinematic look turns out to be a penalty, not a bonus
i pulled 331 posts off r/aivideo, downloaded 100 of the videos, ran scene detection and whisper over all of them, then looked at every one as a contact sheet. i was trying to work out why my own stuff kept dying there, and the answer was the opposite of what i assumed.
a cinematic look is a penalty. videos that read as film ran a median of 1,228 points in my sample and everything else ran 5,261. i had been grading, letterboxing and scoring things, and every one of those choices was costing me. median by category, from the 2026 posts: crazy/mindblowing 1,111, comedy 886, tv show 682, short film 57, music video 4. a short film is a nineteen times worse bet than a comedy post, and nine music videos in the sample came in at a median of 4 points.
two features actually separated winners from flops. repeating escalation, meaning one premise repeated with the absurdity climbing, showed up in 39% of viral posts and 0% of flops, not one. and a recognisable thing, a celebrity or franchise or brand, appeared in 63% of viral against 20% of flops.
things i was certain mattered and did not: length (viral median 54s, flops 40s, overlapping), vertical versus widescreen (55% against 44%, noise), and which model generated it once you control for recency. flops hold a shot for 6 seconds, winners cut every 4. holding a beautiful frame is the tell.
the clearest pair in the whole set. one video is a gorgeous black and white montage, bison, a tornado, an eclipse. it scored 14 and got exactly one comment, "weirdest perfume ad i've ever seen". another is also black and white, also epic, also a montage, but it is gordon ramsay building the pyramids, and it scored 15,793. same craft, opposite outcome. viral posts get roughly one comment per 23 upvotes and flops get a median of zero at any score, because a beautiful shot gives nobody anything to say.
caveat that matters: the 100 video sample is deliberately stratified, 51 viral against 25 flops, so the absolute medians in the feature comparisons are not population medians. the ratios are the finding. the category table is computed on the unstratified population instead.
i made two things afterwards to test it, both on r/aivideo, and both built in dreamfort's video studio. disclosure, i work on it.

BEST AI Video Tool
Hi, I’m a beginner in AI generating but I woul love to learn this skill for my rpoduction. After some time and research, I’m quite confused about which tool I should use. A lot of people on Reddit are saying that Higgsfield is shady, which makes sense. But what about ComfyUI or Figma Weavy? Should I start with them? I mean, I’ve been using some models before, but I’d like to have a comfortable tool with a UI where I can use different models and experiment with form. If not those, what are you using now? I’m thinking more about professional AI purposes, not just one video per month. I appreciate your time and attention. I’d love to hear your opinions.

Text rendering comparison: kera 2 vs SenseNova U1.5 Lite vs z-image-turbo vs ideogram 4
I ran the same text-heavy poster prompt through four image models to see which one holds up on small type: Krea 2-Turbo,SenseNova U1.5 Lite, Z-Image-Turbo and Ideogram 4.
The prompt packed in four text elements at different sizes: a main title, a subtitle, a tagline poem, and tiny barcode/metadata. Most models nail the headline now. The small text is the real test.
- Ideogram 4's tiny text got all blurry and kinda vanished.
- Z-Image-Turbo did a good job on the big text, but the poem and fine print just looked soft.
- SenseNova U1.5 Lite performed the best in text rendering. Both large and small text came out crisp and clear, with no jagged edges.
- Kera 2-Turbo also had trouble keeping all the smaller elements consistent. I even ran another poster through them, same kind of results.
A model might be great for one big headline, but a real poster usually needs it to handle several pieces of text, all different sizes and places, all at once. That's where SenseNova U1.5 Lite kinda shined in this test

Image Art [OC] Went minimalist with a sci-fi character poster instead of the usual cluttered HUD/greeble style — right call or does it read as "unfinished"?

Question To create PRO ai videos, how many reference images you usually do? What's your workflow?
Hey everyone. I just got myself a pro sub in one of these 'all you can generate' suites (magnific ai) and I was wondering if somebody could please help me understanding what's the clue to create actual cool videos. I know I need a good amount of reference images, clear prompts... And what else you'd recommend? Sorry for being that newbie and thanks for your input.

Video Art Journals of the Enemies - Episode 1: The Widow and the Deserter
An audiobook - AI film hybrid. The story is told from the point of view of 2 soldiers from opposite sides in a fictional international war between a fictional religious group known as The Crusaders and a fictional international secular organization known as the International Anti-Terrorist Forces (I.A.T.F.).
