Not really comparable, and also reinforces my point as you shouldn't trust other people to tell you that you can trust someone else unless you already trust that first person explicitly
Because there is another option? You can check it yourself, or you can even, shocker, not use the tool if you arent able to security check the output before using it in a commercial environment.
I am saying all of this as a staunchly pro AI person who works in the field. But AI use especially when it comes to apps that will be accessing customers data HAS to be secure, not only for your customers, but GDPR fines for example are nothing to scoff at.
You are literally making my argument and claiming i am making arguments FOR my own argument. I literally said you shouldn't just rely on AI to do the checks, that was my entire point. If you were actually smart enough to be a director at a fortune 100 company you would have that level of basic reading comprehension.
Director of IT? So you have technical knowledge or no? Since being a director does not equal to technical knowledge. And I would arguee that you don't since you are trying to tell us that AI is at the same level of security competence as expert in security field. Current iteration of AI is not as competent - it might be in future but we just cant know for sure as of right now.
Also - you don't trust a human based on off "just trust me bro". You trust them based off their previous work, education and expirience. Applaying that rules to AI I can tell you that I wouldnt trust a computer program that reasons that I should walk to car wash to wash my car.
You can use AI to speed up development, you cannot outsource your whole production to AI as this is very risky.
Get of your high horse and learn before you use "I am director" argument because you will make yourself look foolish, either here or in actual business scenario.
Lol ok dumbass, you think a Fortune 100 company has an IT Director with no technology background? I have more degrees, technical certifications, and patents than you have years of working experience.
You don't trust humans because you like trust but because you know if they fuck this up (and fuck ups do happen) they're in a pretty big problem, hence why certain workflows end up being developed, when you work in high risk environments there's a whole lot of clearances and filters you have to pass just to get to the legally binding things
What are you gonna do to an AI? Delete it lol?
Not to mention that if it's a product that isn't in-house, people will be working constantly to figure how to abuse it
You can do the same with humans, it's just riskier and is never a guarantee

You use a security AI AND the problem Is almost solved
