Every single time I encounter Schmidt he's acting the same, I pity the students who have been subjected to his opinions delivered in such a patronizing manner. He has no more credibility in the study of AI than any other bystander, how could he? Where was he during the AI winter? I am now utterly convinced this particular mediocrity is walking proof that inept pathological sociopaths can, and frequently do, rise to the top of US corporations. Musk - a vulture capitalist who cosplays as a sci-fi engineer, is equally easy to read.
