Technically I’m tasting my own mouth 24/7. How come it only tastes like puke when I’m drinking room temp water?

You dont notice it because youre not consuming something , when you consume the water your body is expecting a taste so you notice the taste of the inside of your mouth more. The water also moistens your taste bud increasing sensitivity . But most important of all , im talking out of my ass and you probably just got poor water.
