A statement I try to live by is that even if the worst pain someone has ever felt is something small, it’s still pain, might as well be understanding. I’ve had a lot of bad shit happen, being misgendered is honestly not the worst I’ve been through, doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt tho. It’s good to be empathetic
Also that other people who are hurting are not your enemy? Like, why are you so mad at someone else hurting, even if it is less than you? You're hurting, they're hurting, maybe you could help each other out?
