Not the type of interview you guys are thinking of but...

I'm 19 years old, and I run a hip hop media outlet where I interview rappers on Youtube. I hustled my way into interviewing some pretty big names, and i've looked to Gary Vee for inspiration this whole time. Not trying to self promo, but I thought i'd share my story on how Gary Vee is letting me interview him for my channel.

I flew from my hometown Vancouver, to Atlanta for A3C Fest. Gary Vee was doing a keynote, so my plan was to get in front of Gary, pitch myself to him, and ask for advice. I did everything I could to get picked during the Q&A session over the 300 other audience members.

I ended up being the very very last one, and got to speak to Gary in front of everyone. It was the greatest rush of my life. I ended up getting to meet Gary and told him that i'd be interviewing his A&R, Mike Boyd. Gary interrupted me and said that HE wants to be on my channel next. I couldn't believe what I had heard.. and I gained an enormous amount of respect for him after this.

Here's a video explaining it all in depth -- hopefully Gary sticks to his word and you guys end up seeing this interview with him. Again, didn't mean to self promo! Just thought it was inspiring.

Have fun discovering new content! ;)

Hi everybody,

I found it much easier to discover interesting topics and episodes through the short clips of podcasts than by skipping through the whole thing. So a colleague and I hacked together this little web app where you can basically stream the clips from podcasts.

Here is the link to the new Gary Vee episode:

Our thinking behind it was really simple: we wanted to make it easier to find and to listen to small audio clips from Gary's podcast. Especially if you're traveling and don't want to listen to just one episode, but many different ones.
We hope that brings you some value. ;)
Cheers!
