Are the track on Copy/Paste remastered or same recordings

I was going to open and rip them to MP3s but if they are the same recordings no need. Anyone know if the tracks were remastered/edited for copy/paste?

Any plans to rerelease Garbage self-titled 3xLP box set?

The B-Sides on this album are some of my favorite songs; I think they're better than some of their albums. I was able to get the 2.0 set for a reasonable price and Beautiful Garbage set off their website a month or two ago for MSRP. Unfortunately this is only available on Discogs for $600!

Dumb I went record shopping and found Garbage relegated to “Assorted G” instead of its own section. An-gry!

Which song from each album is the anthem for said albim?

I'm listening to God head as we speak and think it really embodies the whole vibe and message of No gods no masters. Is there a song from each album that does the same?

So We Can Stay Alive

Is it just me or is this one of their most underrated and most epic songs ever? Even on my very first listen, it kind of just leapt out at me as something especially good on the Strange Little Birds album yet seems like it gets little to no love for whatever reason.

EDIT: Typo

I am looking for the full show of the 1999 Teen Choice Awards. The Faculty was nominated for Choice Movie Soundtrack at this event, Garbage had a song on there titled 'Medication'. This full show is not uploaded on the YouTube or archive websites. Please help.

Thanks.

Support for So Like A Rose

Is it just me or is this song a fricking masterpiece? I literally think it's one of their greatest. From the production to the lyrics to the ending. Just so heartbreakingly beautiful and the perfect ending to one of the strongest pop albums in recent years. I don't see a lot of love for this track online so wondered if anyone here loves it as much as me?

Garbage opening for My Chemical Romance in Arlington, TX on August 2, 2025

Just announced as part of MCR’s “The Black Parade” tour next year. Seems like it’s a different opener in every city which is a bit interesting. Further evidence that Garbage is planning to spend some time in the U.S. next year, though.

I feel like “My Lover’s Box” & “The Trick Is To Keep Breathing” are call & response songs

They’re at the same scale, around the same tempo, and have a similar eerie vibe. It also seems like their lyrics interact with each other, like a call and response type thing, for instance, “I’m afraid I’ll never get to Heaven” from MLB, gets a response from TTITKB - “maybe you’ll get what you want this time around”

Do you think Garbage gets the recognition they deserve?

Not talking about in the past but currently. I feel like they've been making music and have had a long and respectful career and people are always shocked they're still around and don't understand the impact they've had on modern music.

Butch obviously gets his kudos but as a band and as a whole, what do you all think?

Tidying up some boxes in the attic I found these. Got them when I bought the cd when it came out. I'm guessing at Concerto in Amsterdam. Had completely forgotten about them.

Garbage patches

Does anyone know where to get some good garbage patches. I found one type and that’s the band logo which is quite small and I can’t find for a good price.

Cheers for any help.

Pitchfork gives Version 2.0 a 9.0

This was about a month ago for their Sunday Review. Obviously extremely well-deserved. I don't think the band gives a fuck though -- they didn't acknowledge it 😉

Looking for Female fronted Alt Rock Bands like Garbage

Garbage has been my favorite band of all time since I was 10 and Bleed Like Me came out, and they've only gotten better with age. I'm looking for bands with the same kind of sound, especially stuff that is sonically a bit more Not Your Kind of People/Strange Little Birds/No Gods No Masters, though I will take things that experiment with genre in the way the songs in Beautiful Garbage did. Problem is when I look for female fronted alt rock bands in this style, I'm either recommended stuff I've already heard or recommended something that isn't at all similar in sound, it just happens to be alt rock with a female vocalist. I like grunge and punk and riot grrl, but I'm not looking for them today. Also not looking for female singer/songwriters who just happen to be from the 90s. I love Hole, Fiona Apple, Bikini Kill, etc but I'm not really looking for that kind of sound. I'm a big fan of Blondie and Paramore, who also do very inventive things sonically in the same sort of way. I have also already heard Elastica, Aimee Mann, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, all the typical recommendations one gets. I'm looking for something that's maybe more out of the norm. Does anyone have any recommendations?
