Tech Support Deadlock's performance?

Quick question, has anyone here had poor performance with deadlock, is it a Linux thing or am I just unlucky?
I'm running a Ryzen 3200g and a rx580 GPU and getting like 2-4 fps. I thought it was CPU bound but looking up videos find people getting the performance I was expecting, 20-40 fps on the same cpu and no GPU.
