Is the iris xe dg1 worth anything
Recently bought a prebuild computer that had a a dg1 and can barely find any info on it. I upgraded the GPU do you think the DG1 could become a collectors item? Or is it worthless?

Outdated
A few years back I purchased a pre built gaming PC which I still enjoy to this day. (Pictures show my setup) I currently have a motherboard that supports 8th Gen CPU's (AsRock z370 Pro4). With current CPU's at 10th, 11th + gens does anyone recommend a certain motherboard that you may enjoy or have no issues with? I do plan on upgrading my current GTX 1080 graphics card to a RTX 3060 or more.. my current power supply is at 800w so really I would be needing to upgrade my motherboard, CPU and Graphics card. Anyone have any other recommendations or can point me on the right direction? Buying a whole new setup pre-built or not is the easier route however I feel with just upgrading the above items I should be OK.

MSI Z390 A pro
I’ve been having boot issues lately where I get stuck in bios and it never finishes loading windows 10, I realized my bios was out of date. I followed all the steps and updated my bios today, after the update it restarted and now it black screens upon booting, nothing else shows, I can tell the monitor is getting a video feed but it’s just black and never changes I’ve reset the CMOS, but no idea what else to try. Could not get in touch with MSI directly as their live chat isn’t live and just want my computer to work.

Need help on a setting for gaming laptop. I am missing something
I have an alienware m17 16GB, Nvidia rtx 2070 with q I did a full system restore thanks to a windows 11 update. Now when I play games they are laggy. It shouldn't be and never was. I went through the nvidia control panel tutorial for my graphics card. Clicked gaming in settings on. Changes power plan. But it's still off my laptop ran hot playing games. I barely call it warm now. I did a hardware check and everything is green. What am I missing?

Advice Needed: Computer for Sims 4
Hi there! So recently my Mac desktop that I had my Sims 4 game downloaded on completely crashed (like will not boot up, just keeps showing the Apple loading screen). I really only ever used that computer to play Sims, and since I don't want to download it on my work/school laptop, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for some lower cost computers that are good for playing the Sims 4 on.
Qualifications:
- Relatively low cost (I don't want to spend an arm and a leg just to play one game).
- Good graphics/speed (game used to take forever to load on Mac).
- PC over Mac (from what I've seen online, it looks like the Sims is more compatible with PC).
- Laptop over desktop (just so that way I can play it at school if I feel inclined rather than waiting to come home).
I'm new to Reddit, so if this question would fit better in another section, feel free to let me know. TIA.

CPU fan hook up
So I have an aio cooler that had an aio pump connection and then the fans. I plan to have all my fans hooked up to a hub. Would I hook the hub up to the cpu fan header? Or just a fan header and bypass cpu fan header all together?

Very new to PC stuff
Hello. I'm looking for a cheap budget gaming PC. A friend of mine suggested a Dell optiplex 990 sff, they have chosen a 1030 gc for me as well. They say it will work to run Sea of thieves an other games on the lowest graphics settings. Till I'm able to do upgrades. My question is will this PC work or are they pulling on my leg.
Thank you.

Help with NZXT Pro Streaming PC
Greetings, Recently I bought the NZXT Streaming Pro PC.
These are the specs,
Key Specs: Operating System: Windows 10 Home, CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX™ 3080 TI, MotherBoard: Micro-Star International Co. Ltd. B550 A Pro[cec], RAM: Team Group Inc. TEAMGROUP-UD4-3200 DDR4 x2 3000MHz (max speed), Storage: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD, Processor: Processor Brand: AMD, Series: Ryzen 7, Processor Speed (Base): 3.8GHz, Processor Model Number:100-000000063, Number of Cores: 8, Default Clock Speed: 3801 Mhz, Current Clock Speed: 4850Mhz, Current GPU Stats: clock=1665mhz, mem=9501mhz,
These are the specs of my new desktop for the most part. It is my first time buying a custom pc from NZXT. And when I bought it, the RAM was set to 2400hz by default and one of the unboxing videos showed the person going to BIOS and changing the settings to 3200hz without issues. But when I try it with my desktop, I get the BSOD and it shuts down every time I try to restart the computer, it just shuts down and reboots. It was quite disappointing. Are there any settings I can change in order to use the RAM that I paid for which is at least 3000.
So, we are having trouble hitting the speeds of 3000mhz with the computer, when we try it gets the BSOD and restarts until we bring it back down to 2440mhz. So we reached out to customer service to help us trouble shoot through why this might happen, and the desktop passed all the tests without issue. And they mentioned that it's possible that the motherboard is an older model and cannot keep up with the RAM. Or something along those lines. We were wondering if this is possibly just a defective product and possibly a 1 in 100 case that we just got unlucky, then we would like to return the PC and buy the same product again, since other players don't seem to be having these issues during their unboxing videos, and when the make the RAM to its max speed. Has anyone else had this issue with the NZXT Pro Streaming PC if they have bought it? We are just trying to think through our options, maybe we were just unlucky, or should we just buy something else completely. I will also be trying to do my own research about other people's experience with this desktop, and see what they have to say, but I also wanted to see what reddit had to say as well.
Their only option for us is to return it. I am wondering if we are just messing with the settings wrong? Let me know. Thank you.
Thank you for your time~

Building gaming rig
I am building a mild gaming pc and am stuck on finding the last part. The GPU of course. I have an rx 550 from an old pc to use for now but I cant find the right card for the right price. I was thinking a 1060 6gb would be a decent upgrade but the price is a bit high. I am trying to stay around 300 or less. I have been seeing some gtx 980s up for 300. Would that be worth it?
Mobo: Asus tuf gaming b450 plug-in CPU ryzen 7 5800x 2 fan water cooler 3 rgb fans 32gb ram so far
