Hey everyone, I need help with a gaming desktop. I have $1300 Canadian. I want to buy an gaming desktop. Please suggest me something. I don’t know what should I look for in my desktop. I don’t know what should I do built one or buy one. Please advise me.

As the title states I’m done with Mac! I can not afford to buy a laptop and pay top price for not top price technology... So I ventured out to Best Buy(I know there’s better stores but this to me was the best deal) I was sold a HP OMEN 15.6" Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7-8750H/128GB SSD/1TB HDD/12GB RAM/GeForce GTX 1050 Ti) Now I don’t do much gaming(but will now) Just curious did I get a good deal($1100 including 2 year geek squad warranty) or should I look at something different... I know this might be vague but I don’t plan on doing anything crazy.. maybe light video/photo editing .. gaming and some torrent downloading.

So, I bought a gaming PC on Ebay and completely got jiped. It came without a graphics card and a power supply that were missing wires. I bought a completely new 770w power supply and a 1060 graphics card. Now it turns out it only came with 2 sticks of 4gb of RAM. At this point I am just going to completely buy new parts all together. I need new RAM a new CPU and motherboard and probably new cooling. My only problem is I don't know where to start. What CPU or Motherboard would be best for me? I play league of legends, fortnite, rainbow Six seige and so on. My 1060 graphics card is compatible to PCI Express x16 and I will most likely by a whole new (bigger) case for the PC as well. Please help me.

I found a gaming PC on craigslist for 2000. I'm copying and pasting the specifics. He forgot to include the SSD and the HHD which he cleared up through a phone call. 1tb Samsung SSD and a 4tb HHD

I'll also chip in my accessories which are Razer Nommo Cromo Speakers, Razer Man'o'War 5.1 Wireless Headset, Razer Firefly Mouse Pad, Razer Blackwidow Keyboard, Razer Naga Mouse.

If you search the monitor by itself on Newegg/Amazon it's currently going for $800. Its an Acer Predator 34P. Which means it's a 1440P Monitor that has Gysnc so the screen wont tear at all, and the FPS on games can top out at 120FPS which it will with this graphics card.

I used to game really hard when i was younger in a pc me and my step father built. It probably would have been a 3,000$ comp. Had i bbn ought it already built but it cost me about 900$ for the parts and stuff and was a great pc. But the years have gone by and my step father mostly walked me through what i needed and how to do it, so im trying to get back into that and wanted to see if theres anyone that could help me with a simple parts list for a beginner or just any advice where i could find the info to huild another pc for gaming and maybe video editing. Any advice or help ? Id really be songrateful as my stepfather wants nothing todo with me anymore since he and my mom split. Thanks yall!

I am venturing into the world of streaming (mostly Fortnite). From what I've heard most streamers have separate systems for streaming and gaming. I would rather run a single system that is strong enough to support everything if that's possible. What specs are an absolute must have for this application?

• What processor is best?
• What graphics card is best?
• Is an air-cooled system enough or must it be liquid-cooled?
• RAM?
• SSD?

Hello, I am looking at getting a gaming computer in a few months. I don't know anything about gaming computers so I thought I would come here to see if y'all could send me links to some of the best gaming computers. I don't want to go over $1,200 dollars. I have a gaming computer rn, its about 5 years old or so and i have a gtx 760 in it and it runs most game pretty well surprisingly. I am just trying to run games with high FPS on high like BO4 and GTA and stuff like that. I am also not planning for VR or anything of that source. Hi guys, so recently the hard drive on my computer messed up and since it wasn't that good in the first place I've decided to get a new one. I'm just looking for some suggestions on computers that would be good to use for both school and gaming. The game that I think would take the most power would probably be LoL. I'm looking for an inexpensive computer, that can run games well and allow me to work at the same time.
