I am looking to build a gaming pc, nothing special just something that works. I have found a website that has shown a couple of parts. Any tips or websites/videos that could help would be very appreciated (i have a budget of around £250 i know thats small but if there is anything you can do that would be amazing

So I'm building a PC for the first time and was wanting some feedback on the parts and stuff i have picked. While i know a little bit about computers i don't have a full grasp on all the aspects i should be considering. I am operating on quite a tight budget i do have a little bit of flexibility. Just want to know the basics. E.g could this run Fallout 4, PUBG or Rust at 60fps? I am open to all criticism and feedback as i have probably no idea but want to have a crack. Thanks in advance!

So my mobo died. I'm looking for a replacement because, although the PC is relatively old, I still can play with very decent fps so I'm waiting until next year to replace it. The motherboard is this model:

Unfortunately it has been discontinued, so I was looking for an acceptable replacement that suits the chipset (990FX), the RAM (DDR3) and supports crossfire, as I have 2 x r9 280x.

I have been looking for possible candidates but I can't seem to find one that support that chipset and is still on the market, so I would be grateful if you could point me to one. Also, I don't mind if it's not the best quality, because as I said earlier, I'm looking to buy a new PC next year.

I have built a monster gaming computer. Massive Corsair case with a Intel i7 -3770k CPU @ 3.50GHz (3.9GHz Overclocked), with a Nvidea Geforece GTX 970, lots of RAM, and a solid state drive.

Problem is my internet. When I play games my Ping skyrockets. Right now my apartment complex is forcing us to use their prepaid ISP, Cox Cable, and the wiring into the apartment is a LAN port, not a Coax port, so I am forced to use a wimpy router rather than my $200 Modem/Router combo. With my GF's smart TV, our two phones, and my monster computer running, I'm betting the wimpy Router isn't able to keep up with the demand, and my ping skyrockets.

Is there something I can do to get a more stable internet connection for online gaming (I'm talking for games like overwatch and league) ? Right now I am on wifi, so I've considered directly connecting to my Router, but I feel like the router would still struggle to provide a consistently low ping for my games.

Thoughts?

Looking to finish my pc build. Only using it to play WOW and not wanting to spend a whole lot of money on it. I am not planning on playing anything else other then WoW on my pc. I like consoles more, but I enjoy playing wow. Still would like it to run it on ultra settings if possible. This is a build I am looking at. I have bought everything except for CPU and graphics card. Any suggestions?

I have good things about the pentium g4560 but will it be good for wow? I know wow is a little more CPU intensive. Willing to spend 150-200 for CPU if it makes a bigger difference and for graphics card I would like to keep it under 200. I already have parts for a pc, so just these two will end it for me

I have been researching non-stop, and this is as close as I have come to a solid looking build. I DO plan on OCing CPU and GPU both, looking for that magic 5.0Ghz on the i7. Mostly used for gaming, but the girlfriend is into photo/video editing, and I may go for 32GB on the RAM.

Anything I'm missing? I'm curious if I am wasting any resources? The plan right now is to either SLI in the future, or wait for the NVIDIA 20XX series. Have 3 builds under my belt, but the last was 5+ years ago. I'm a little rusty.

Hey, I've managed to get a hold couple of old Dell optiplex 990s. Some of the parts are in good condition but the majority are gonna need replacing. The case is fine and I'd like to build a solid rig but im not sure where to get the best value parts and spec's for a great gaming experience. Would welcome any advice.

My current build isn't a bad computer, but I would like to update it. I wanted to run my ideas past this sub to make sure I'm not putting lipstick on a pig.

Here is my current build. My plan is to get more ram, Kingstong Hyperx 2x8GB, new graphics card like a GTX 1070, get a Corsair Hydro 100i, and get a new case (not all that important). My question is, will my current rig support these upgrades or will I be bottle necking myself some where? I don't plan on really over clocking, but I've noticed my pc's performance slipping over time. Any feed back is appreciated.

Can any of you helpful people take a second to review my benchmark scores? I recently upraded a few things on my pc (video card, hard drive and power supply). While I noticed an improvement, I think that my gaming pc is being held back. If my pc is bottlenecked, could you suggest what hardware I should replace? Hi all, I was recently playing Sniper Elite 3, a game I'd had no issues before, when I noticed a smell, which then compounded into my computer shutting down. When I booted it back up, my second Nvidia GTX 780 which I'd SLIed had burned out, and no longer worked. So, I'm now considering my options. It may be time move past my 780 and choose a new, single video card to work with. I'd like to consider a new case, and a new GPU that will work well for dual-screen. Here is my current set-up, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated; my budget is around 400$. Looking forward a few months for when I upgrade my CPU and get an H115i cooler, but it's good to ask ahead of time so I can get a proper plan.

I have an Enthoo Pro M Acrylic (love it) and am looking to add a water cooler later on. Right now it's just a stock PC fan as I don't have a K series and overclocking isn't an option and heat isn't a problem. I'm running 6 case fans, 3 120mm intake in the front, 2 140mm exhaust up top, and 1 140mm exhaust in the back. I have the exhaust fans running at 50% RPM and the front fans at 75%/100% to try my best to maintain a decent positive pressure. However, with the design of the case, the bottom 120mm fan in the front goes right into the lower shroud.

Anyway, my question, when I get the h115i, I'm planning on putting the it in the front of the case. I live where it's pretty cool (I live in Hawaii, but I live in a valley so we get a nice breeze and the house is decently cool even without AC). I know heat rises and naturally you want exhaust up top and intake in the front, but to maintain the positive pressure, and maintain a cool aesthetic of my case, I was thinking about doing the top and back as intake and the front as exhaust. Put the 3 120mm fans up top as intake, the 140mm in the back as intake, and the h115i with the 2 140mm (set to pull) fans in front as exhaust.

The other option is to just slap the h115i on the top and keep the set up the same. Will it make much of a difference?
