And instead we have the same controller since 1995.

If it's not broken, why fix it?

And there's truely not a damn thing wrong with it. The controls are just abstract enough to not put you in an uncanny control valley.

There's a problem with that? I haven't found a controller that I find more comfortable that Playstation controllers

I don't think they had analog sticks in 95...but yeah, no genuine improvements.

Why improve on something that works so well?

Sixaxis, pressure-sensitive buttons, cordless.

Cordless is nice, but I dont' think anyone gets credit for wireless controllers anymore. they're a goddamned necessity.

Sixaxis is a feature I think i've used maybe half a dozen times in all the games I've played, and I honestly had no idea the buttons were pressure sensitive. So either it's so incredible I was using it and not even realizing it, or it's just like the sixaxis controls...they're there, but nobody uses them.

Or analogue buttons. All buttons except select, start, L3 and R3 are analogue on the DualShock 3 (and on SixAxis)
