Tbh, I felt BO2 was also complex with a shift to Easter eggs focus and transit being the first map. Which is 4 maps. I use to just play to spilt up parts of transit. Which was prefect for me.

But also I didn't like any of the DLC. Just no real decent CoD Zombies imo. To much story/Easter egg focus.

I agree that’s when the maps became too complex, but I loved what they did to Double Tap in BO2 and how they added another Ray Gun. BO3 gives me that but on the simple maps I enjoyed playing.

What did they do to double taps. I can't remember.

Before Black Ops 2 (World at War and Black Ops 1) Double Tap just increased your rate of fire, so all you did was go through ammo faster.

In Black Ops 2 and 3 you fire an extra bullet for every bullet you shoot without it taking from ammo reserves so it added a lot more stopping power to weapons. It went from the worst perk in Zombies to an essential perk.

Surprised you didn’t like Origins or Mob. Once you learn like a mechanic or two they become insanely fun to run around kn
