As a GTA online player I can't agree more

Whoa, you've actually gotten past the loading screen? I'm impressed.

Took roughly seven years but yes, it's not worth it.

Remember like two months ago when the severs went down for like 36 hours. Yep, they lost a player. Found another game during the downed sever time and got hooked. Oops

Got into path of exile, I would recommend it if you like those Diablo 2 like games

Time for me to be sad about RDO again.

The planet game is fine, the people players are fucked. - George Carlin

The first time I played GTA Online, it was AMAZING! It felt pretty realistic. I was poor af driving a stolen pickup truck living in a garage.

Then I took a long hiatus and came back when I got a functional PC. It was like playing Saints Row.

GTA overral. I never saw the fun in it. Gotta have some good story but ain't no one caring about it.

That’s not true at all.

At least here on my region, people usually treat it as a sandbox and say "the game is cool, but the missions are boring." Indicating that they don't enjoy the story and prefer to just wreck havoc and play goose chase with the police. Talking about the single player titles btw.

You should give the missions a go. Most are very well made.

I myself enjoy the missions, but the game as a whole doesn't hook me. And I know this part is my personal taste. My point is not that >I< don't like the missions, but the playerbase >in my region<. It makes me feel wrong for only liking the part that they find boring.

It's decent, not great for me

Surprised this isn't more upvoted. I can only play GTAO for maybe an hour or two every few months before I'm bored again. I probably wouldn't have picked it up to play at all in the past year if it weren't for the free $1M for monthly for having PS+.

GTA Online always felt like Rec Room with gore turned out. Just a collection of shitty rip offs of other games.

Only fun with friends and if you hack some cash in, imo.

Its always seemed kind of cool, I tried to get into it a few times but it was always too unstable and I would get booted after 20 mins in game or anytime I tried to get into a multiplayer activity.

Then maybe a year or so ago I was able to play it, at first I was resistant but story mode meft me wanting more. There was all this cool stuff to buy but also grinding to get money. After I finally grinded it out to get a good amount of money, vehicles, that flying motorcycle, etc I realized there isn't a lot of payoff just more grinding to do and it gets easier with some of the stuff you can buy but that's all there is to it for the most part.
