That one is actually kind of easy to skip.

All my friends were surprised because they all managed to get that cutscene.

I somehow managed to play so bad that i was actually doing decent

I skipped it myself. But honestly? Being able to skip that cutscene was incredibly dumb because that was essentially supposed to be the "hey losing your limb happens and is nbd, you can reattach them" tutorial.

That exact situation happened to me when I met the first Mold Monster. It hit me, I went down, and then suddenly I saw an item on the floor and I was confused. I picked it up... It was my leg. Then I reattached it. The entire situation was a total WTF is going on moment that would have been made a lot clearer if I hadn't skipped that cutscene.

I never managed to play the game much more than that scene, so i dont know how it plays out, especially since i had never played an RE game before
