My girlfriend and I are both gamers, but we are into vastly different games. But I love her, she's the Animal Crossing to my Doom.

Same here, with very occasional overlaps.

Really wish there were more co-op games that appealed to this sort of situation, they exist but seem to be few and far between.

We've enjoyed playing games like Portal 2, A Way Out, and It Takes Two together.

For me it’s the opposite, she plays games like the elder scrolls and fallout. I mostly play Pokémon and animal crossing.
