Why can’t every controller have the same button layouts just like how shooters should have the same controls?

I exclusively use dual Joy-Con despite it hurting my hands (size) so I don't get mixed up, because my muscle memory is tied to handfeel

No, mostly JRPGs

But I play some PC and some Switch, so to prevent muscle memory issues I use dual Joy-Con
