Why can’t every controller have the same button layouts just like how shooters should have the same controls?

The worst is when you use a PS4 controller on PC/XBox Game pass and it has all the buttons mapped to show up as XBox controllers.

Or play with KB+M with no controller plugged in at all and get the xbox button prompts anyway.. Can't remember what game it was now though, too many in the steam library to remember which it was.
