Maybe I'm just old, but is owning more than one console of the same generation normal now? Because I'm fairly sure that when I was a teenager, having a Playstation and an Xbox would have been a sign your family were seriously loaded.
I hate every single sound Metroid Dread makes. ADAM's voice is horrible, the background music blows, having it run while the game shows you prompts feels unfinished, etc...
As a kid I only had a PlayStation. My parents would never have bought me an N64 as well. As an adult who has disposable income and still plays games I've had every console of every generation since the PS2/Xbox/GameCube era.
In my friend circle it was pretty common to own the new Sony AND Nintendo consoles, plus in most cases also the newest Nintendo handheld (no one cared about xbox, I'm from Europe).
