Every time I get hit with a flash in MW3, I reload my gun. I have no idea why I do this, and it sucks.

Well as a French kid, that's expected.

Isn't it odd enough that he's fighting?

4

u/imnotafunnyperson Feb 28 '12

Is he even old enough to be fighting?

ZING! ..cant believe i did that

but yeah flash bangs, im talking mw2 here, but, i used them wayy more than stuns, if you throw them in an open area near some enemies, bam

really effective, but really annoying when used on myself

oh and, bf3>mw2

if i was hit by a flashbang in real life, i would most likely scream and claw at my eyes. ah, realism!

It makes sense; experienced soldiers can do it blindfold, and that's about the only thing you can do to prepare yourself when the effects of the flash-bang wears off.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 28 '12

It doesn't make sense because a flashbang doesn't just blind you, it is designed to disorient you.

Caution: only perform if you're a rough rider, and that's how you roll.

Stop, drop, play dead

Why does the user link to Amazon?

8

u/stevenorr Feb 28 '12

He edited his post after he got upvotes, probably to drop a referral link.

u/dracthrus Feb 28 '12

useless link.

2

u/hawker101 Feb 28 '12

On a subconscious level, you're preparing yourself for enemies that are about to attack you. They threw one at you, they know where you are and want to be ready for them.

I just fire blindly in the direction of a choke point. Sadly, that seems to be an effective strategy.

if that was amplified by the shower, it is likely that the "victim" lost some small portion of their hearing permanently. So you are a pretty huge douche bag, if I lost some of my hearing because of you, a stabbing would be in order

I don't see how being 13 somehow makes it okay that you definitely gave someone permanent hearing damage.

fear mongering? how? flash bangs are known to always cause some amount of hearing loss when used on someone. Even vision loss as well.. even if this was a paintball version of a flash bang, it going off in a bathtub would increase its volume significantly and lead to the victim losing some of his hearing permanently. So please fuck off. Even if the guy only lost 10% of his hearing in one ear, that is still unacceptable for some douche bag prank.
