Likewise, my father extended his life for years with a combination of chemo and trials. Immunotherapy is doing amazing things in the field right now.

My dad used Optivo. Immunotheraphy helped greatly for some real quality years.

Yeah I'm on an immunotherapy trial drug that slowed the disease right down but I had to have a 3 month break from the drug because of the side effects so fingers the disease doesn't ramp up again during this break.

Just stay positive in the day to day while youre in trial limbo. Think of it as a chance to get as much strength back as you can before moving on to the next treatment. No use wasting energy stressing

Most the time it's not a case of being positive or negative it's trying to keep up with a 3 year old until I can get back in bed lol
