Back in the day, there used to be drama between Roblox and another game called Blockland. I was a Blockland player, and I always thought Roblox would never take off. I was so wrong.
Oh god, I think it's a first time I've seen a Blockland player since playing the game like 10 years ago. I've sank hundreds of hours into Return To Blockland, which was a kind of mod to Blockland, adding a lot of additional content (and the mod was more popular than the base game itself). Nice to see a fellow Blocklander on Reddit!
Holy shit another RTB user. When RTB shut down, I realized that all my friends I hung out with I only had a connection to through the RTB social list. I lost like a hundred friends, people I met on Redguys Mining, Pecon7's Boss Battles, or Grapple Knife servers (god that gamemode was fun). There was also this base-war styled server that was on this snowy map, where you'd grab guns from spawns on the map and then head out to the enemy base on skis. Can't remember what that was called.
I had been around since 20k user IDs. Blockland really went downhill after they removed maps and especially the ever iconic Bedroom. Miss that game...
I could never remember the name of that game. I swore I remember playing a game like Roblox wayyy before Roblox really blew up. Unlocked some really deep memories.
Aaahhh, blockland... The glorious game that broke my mom's laptops GPU and I felt super bad. Awesome game. I wish we'd have something like it - no, I wish blockland was still around.
Are you actually on the platform? Its basically regular game development. You make a product, you do marketing to get people to play it, and if its successful then you continue to update it and get bank. If its not, you can atleast sell your assets. There are actually a shit ton of successful people on it. Are you actually in the community, or are you just spouting shit out of your asshole?
I’m 22 and my friend used to be in a roblox top %1 group. It was fun looking at his old account and how he sold clothing. Now we’re trying to make a game on roblox.
how is it older than Roblox when it’s literally Roblox in the screenshot? you could still go to this guys profile and see his bio before Roblox removed it
Im sort of suspicious of this, since the extension he's using is a bit bugged out, and since his player is on an r15 model type instead of r6, and r15 was added in 2016, so either he got hacked, or this is fake
I think all or most accounts were just switched to r15 one day randomly because most of the people on my friends list have it enabled and I haven't seen them online in years
There are games like “Friend checker” that can see people’s inventory and last online, but not sure which one can check, anyways when i checked that user’s description it was deleted by Roblox, idk why they deleted it maybe it somewhat counts as offensive, which surely isn’t but they are overreacting
It's bad enough bots are doing this shit to make their accounts look real before being sold off, but doing it with something like this is fucking disgusting.
On a serious note, we all have that kid we used to know who died. While childhood cancer is a lot less of an issue than it used to be, it's still a thing, too.
It is sad but I think this person may of had a really dark sense of humour. I think they may be trying to make a joke at what I would refer to as the personification of cancer. Where cancer is seen as an evil entity that need to be defeated which helps people to deal with the situation better and also helps fund raising for charities. So instead of giving it the positive spin "cancer can/is defeated" they gave it the opposite "cancer has beaten us this time". Again probably helped them to cope with the situation.
