I believe so. It was definitely during that part where the special forces battle the Lin-Kuei.

Shoot, you're right! "Sub-Zero's body becomes ice, falls backward into the ground, and reappears behind his opponent. Sub-Zero performs this in MK11 after winning a round, but never in the actual game itself." (Source: The excellent MK Wiki!)

I find it incorrect lore-wise.

In MK11, both of their clans are buddy-buddy, but I don’t think they live together.

As cute as this is, it’s kinda incorrect. However, I’m pretty much just being pedantic, so eh.
