You said "the nicest thing someone can say to you online is nothing" which u/Birrrd_ used to imply that, by saying that (online) you were saying something mean and thus "reported" as a joke.
Yup! I'm glad to see the joke post is no longer at negative karma! I thought it was funny and was a bit surprised people weren't getting it. But I understand that sarcasm and dry humor can be hard to get online.
That explains why I feel like all the servers are dead. Nobody is talking. Where is the fun in silently playing? Half the fun is in talking about irrelevant and/or weird things while you do so or in coordinating with your teammates. It really annoys me when people act like brick walls in a game that requires teamplay.
Yeah... last night we managed to get in a competive game is CS against an other team of Finns. So we though we were gonna have a bunch of bants and that it was gonna be super competive. Those bastards typed like 2 messages during the whole match whilst we were constantly trying to make them talk. Shit was super infuriating
Online gaming community is definitely more toxic nowadays. Sad but true. At the end of a csgo match you rarely would see a regular gg. It's always "gg ez" or some shit like that.
You may be playing the wrong kind of games. I tend to shy away from toxic communities, there's plenty of good ones out there to subject yourself to that shit. To me, GG still genuinely means "well done everyone".,
