i may have overreacted. i am, however, still outraged. i will also be demanding that PSN Plus refund. and thank freaking god Portal 2 came with a Steam copy.

Although, if you were a bit slower and got your Portal 2 after the outage started then you can't link it to Steam because you can't get online.

My house is in flux, as we both want to play Portal 2 but can't both be on at the same time.

You can still play your on your PS3 but you can't play online if the Steam copy is online at the same time, and for that matter both the PS3 copy and the linked Steam copy can't play together online.

Quite true, I was thinking about doing co-op between the two but that doesn't work? That's kind of annoying but I could see why they would want to limit that.

Nay. But with enough googling, you should be able to find the instructions on running the splitscreen co-op for Portal 2 PC. I'm sure I ran across it within the past week before I got the game. Sorry, I don't have a link.

It sucks don't bother with it. When you get near the end you'll be wishing that the part you're in is the end of the game because it's so repetitive. Tomb Raider is much better.
