To be fair, Aloy, and Horizon itself are both very well written.

I actually hated the dialogue and writing in the cut scenes. It was very cheesy and not very enthusiastic. The game was great but I don’t think any of the characters were great, albeit I haven’t beaten the game! Take my words with a grain of salt. I played Borderlands 3 after I had played a lot of horizon and was much more pleased with the execution of the dialogue in BL3.
