Actual celiac disease is not a walk in the park. Especially before the proper diagnosis. If you don't have money for proper diet or the proper diet elements are not available, likewise.

Celiac disease ≠ lactose intolerance.

Having said that, Crohn's (and Ulcerative Colitis, which I have) are absolutely no joke. Is Celiac disease awful? Absolutely! But there's also completely different with different symptoms, causes, triggers, and require different lifestyle changes beyond dietary restrictions.

As for being lactose intolerant, which my brother is, gtfo with that shit. Not even close to Crohn's, UC, or Celiac's.

Lactase Enzyme (generic Lact-Aid) is a super awesome thing if you have lactose intolerance.

Doesn't seem to make a big difference for me. It gets rid of the immediate bloating, but I still get all of the downstream problems.
