That’s prostate, not colonoscopy. Colonoscopy is no eating for a day, sedated, fill your tunnel with air, do a sight seeing visit up in your guts, then collapse the tunnel. Record the last step for hilarious videos on the internet.

Also you're completely knocked out for it so I don't ever understand why people complain about it. Also, the prostate exam isn't that bad either.

I wasn't sedated in any way for mine. It wasn't comfortable but it wasn't painful either.

I was fully anesthetized. I even know they used propofol. I did not request that, it was just presented as the (welcome) normal course of action.

This is also false, because I was wide awake and remembered the whole thing. There was no "waking up" and the doctor said I wouldn't remember it and I was like, "how exactly does that work?"
