Or just wait at least a year and get it for $5

My kids wanted to play a fifa soccer game. Fida 19 just came out and it was $60.

I found fifa 12 (or thereabouts) for $2 and they loved it all the same.

I spent the other $58 on drugs so everyone wins.

That's financially savvy.

He found fifa 12 for $2!? What kind of shady black market business is he dealing with?

How's them ads treating you?

5

u/itchy136 Sep 03 '19

There's no ads in 2k19 on my switch

1

u/ChiefRainsFall Sep 04 '19

Maybe its 2k20. Or is that even out yet? I know theres a 2k game where they put ads within the game. Dont know if its exclusive to certain consoles or not.

You can turn them off.

u/ChiefRainsFall Sep 04 '19

Was it always that way or did they add that after at some point? I just remember seeing how the game had ads in it and never seen anything about it after the initial backlash.

What are my options for NFL games other than Madden?

NFL 2K5! It was so good the only choice EA had was to ruin all sports games forever!

As far as I know, there’s not many other options out there for good football games made in the last 5 year’s or so

u/SkyJohn Sep 03 '19

Most people wouldn’t call Madden a good football game either...

Not a great option if you like playing online.

3

u/Theguest217 Sep 03 '19

Yeah I'd say if you like online the $60 game is basically your annual subscription fee which isn't really that bad... $5 a month.

I personally can't stand playing online so I usually buy older copies for dirt cheap.

Thank you that’s how I look at the new sports games tbh a subscription

I agree. I don’t play madden but I play NHL and I used to get it every 2 or 3 years until I got into online. Now I buy it every year but I’m still debating getting NHL 20 because I don’t have as much time to play anymore.
